Instrument Pilot Ground School:

Tired of being grounded by that low layer of clouds.  Now is the time to start working on your Instrument Rating.  With this rating, you will no longer be restricted by lower visibilities and cloud decks, all the while increasing your pilot and navigating skills.  Classes will be conducted in a Flight World classroom using Jeppesen materials.  This course will cover all academic requirements for you to become an Instrument Rated Pilot.  Upon successful completion, you will receive the necessary endorsement to take the FAA’s, Instrument Pilot Written Knowledge Exam.

The cost for the complete course is $375.00, payable at the first day of class.  This equates to under $14.00/hr for ground instruction.  Order your Jeppesen, Instrument Pilot, training kit prior to starting class.  Materials are available by calling the Blue Skies Pilot Shop located at the Lake in The Hills Airport (3CK).
